Lab30

A soulseek user known as Derweissse was interested in having his favorite Soulseek Artist Kilowatts and Vanek come to perform for him in Augsburg, Germany. He was planning a show as part of an art festival there and decided to feature Soulseek Records and netlabels as part of the Lab30 portion of the festival in Abraxas. The venue was a decommissioned US military army base that was made into a local theater. Every year they would hold an art festival there with artists from around the world exibiting installations and live performances like Elektroconfrenz which showed that electronic music can be performed and improvised. Acts like Florian Hecker, A&E, Leafcutter John, Ulrich Schanuss, and many others performed solo shows at the event over the years as well.

In 2006 Saskia performed the tracks from her debut album live at select locations around the world. The tour started during the creation of the album in New York City at the Layla Lounge and then started the european leg of the tour at lab30.
